TOG 2019: OUR PRESIDENT’S TALK AT THE PRESENTATIONS

Hi everyone

The TOG was a great success this year.

Take a moment to read our President’s speech where Sarah talks of the important part our volunteers played, the help we received from the other two SA clubs, and the support we received from our valued sponsors. The TOG happens because of the hard work and support these folk provide.  We can’t thank them enough.

MANY THANKS TO THE SA OFFICE FOR RECREATION AND SPORT

We are please to announce that AHMCC has received a $5000 grant from the SA Office of Recreation and Sport.
This is a great outcome for the club and will allow us to undertake some much needed purchases for the club, especially in terms of our safety and fist aid equipment, and further upgrade our timing equipment.

Special thanks to our committee member Rick Gibki who put in many hours of work and discussions with the government to secure the grant. Great work Rick!

TOG – get into some zero friction!

Hi folks

One of our sponsors for the TOG is Zero Friction Cycling who have provided some great prizes to smarten up bits of your drive chain.

We’ve made some small changes to how these prizes are won at the TOG to help share the love and spread the chance to win across two of the stages. So when you read the prize info that’s out there, just note this change:

Rather than give them all on Stage 4 results (the final hill climb) we thought we’d spice it up and give the 5 x Ultrasonic Cleaned and Molten Speed Wax treated YBN chains for the 5 x stage 2 winners. This gives the sprinters a chance to experience these great chains for themselves!

There will still be 2 x Ultrasonic cleaned and Molten Speed Wax treated chains for the fastest male and female winners for stage 4 climb, and in addition to chains they can pick from best lubricants available so they can have either a bag of Molten Speed Wax, Or UFO Drip, or Silca NFS.

Thanks again to Adam at Zero Friction. Check them out here:  https://zerofrictioncycling.com.au/
