CLUB EVENT 6 JAN 2019!

Festive season left you feeling a bit like this?
Have we got an answer for you!
Come along to our event on Sunday 6 Jan. Guaranteed to see you shed those extra kilos (nb: a wishful guarantee, not a real one).

Racing starts at 9am
Flaxley Hall
Meadows – Paris Creek loop. Just spectacular scenery through the hills.

Everyone is welcome.
Bring your friends!

** A club member? – just make sure your 2019 licence is all good. Here’s the ‘how to’ link: https://www.adelaidehillscc.org.au/membership/
** Not an AHMCC member, have an AVCC licence, but nothing else on that day? Come along. We’d love you to join us.
Here from interstate and wanting a ride? Come along!
** New to all this and want to give it a go? Can do. Come and have a FREE trial ride. Just register as normal and tell us a bit about yourself so we can put you in a grade that will give you a good ride.

AHMCC XMAS RIDE

Dec 9 – the xmas handicap, is our last ride for the year!
Come along!

Everyone is welcome:
If your own club isn’t having an event that day, please join us: would love to have you along.
Bring your friends! Trial rides with AHMCC are FREE!. Would be great to see some new faces joining in.

It’s our charity event. All entry fees go to a local cause – give something back to the community that supports us. This year it’s the Macclesfield Primary School where our donation will help provide storage facilities for the bikes and scooters the kids ride to school. So we ride for glory, not for prize money 🙂 will have some door prizes though!

After the race we will put on a lunch for you all to celebrate the year and enjoy time with friends.
We’ll also announce the club consistency award winners and club championship winners.

The race is a ‘secret handicap’ where we all start together (other than getting some E-graders off a tad earlier) but don’t know what handicap we have! Line honours does not necessarily equal event winner bragging rights!

Consistency points after 5-Peaks

Consistency
These are the year’s total points. The 2018 Awards are based on each rider’s best nine rides and will be announced, with prize presentations, immediately following the Christmas Handicap. (As you can see from the Points table, the 2018 awards include the 2017 Christmas Hcp and not the 2018 Christmas Hcp).
