Avis Pearce has been a tireless worker for the AHMCC for many years. No job has been too daunting for her.

She was always the first to arrive on race days to set up the hall before being a vital member of the Registration team. If not riding she would organize the prize money before going out to be a finish judge. After the races she was diligent in ensuring all numbers, hat covers and transponders had been returned. And all this times four at Goolwa! She is definitely a multitasker.

Many Members may not be aware that she took it upon herself to source new numbers and hat covers after the fire. This meant a lot of leg work but the end results were excellent quality at the right price. She was also instrumental in the design and purchase of our smart new medals. She scoured the whole of Australia to get the best result!

Avis has tendered her resignation from the Committee so she can cross off her bucket list the few areas of the Globe she hasn’t yet cycled. We wish her well and look forward to hearing of her adventures.

Her contribution to the smooth running of our Club will be missed.

THANKYOU AVIS!
