Volunteer
Volunteering at AHCC
Our club provides regular, accessible, and well-run road racing for AusCycling members.
The success of our club comes from the support of those who contribute to running events by volunteering to help out.
It would be great if you could chip-in from time to time to help. The more people who put their hand up, the less often we need to ask so please add yourself to the list.
If you have partner/friend/family-member who might be able to help out, that would also be terrific!
There are many volunteering opportunities:
- Traffic Marshaling
- Being a First-Aider at events (see the First Aid link below for more on our First-aid Volunteer Program that pays the cost of you getting first aid accreditation)
- Being a race Commissaire
- Helping on the registration desk at events
- Helping with course signage set-up
- Assisting with timing at our events
- Being part of the event organising team
- Doing some of the behind-the-scenes jobs that can be done at home and don’t need you to attend meetings (things like helping out with membership record keeping, club marketing and promotion… this type of thing)
- Joining the Committee
Just drop us an email to chat about things you might be able to help with: president@adelaidehillscc.org.au
